Faezeh Ghavidel
FAAVIDEL (Faezeh Ghavidel) is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, writer, and musician based in Dubai.
Her practice spans painting, motion-based visual work, and sound, bringing together physical and digital forms. She has developed over 300 physical artworks and more than 260 video-based pieces derived from her paintings, often accompanied by original music compositions.
Her works have been exhibited internationally across Dubai, Beijing, Paris, Istanbul, and the United States, including presentations in New York at Times Square and the Oculus at the World Trade Center. Her artworks have also been collected globally through digital platforms.
Alongside her visual work, she is the author of the Persian novel *The Lake Monster, Chopin, and Grilled Eggplant* (2023), and currently publishes an ongoing bilingual serialized novel titled *Coppice Blue*.
Since 2011, she has worked in interior design and project management, leading residential and commercial projects, and designing furniture and home accessories with a focus on material, space, and environmental sensitivity.
She has also practiced Tai Chi Chuan, Wushu, and Medical Qigong since 2012, holding a Dan 2 degree and international competition recognition, and working as a coach in private and group sessions.
Across her work, FAAVIDEL brings together image, sound, text, movement, and space as parts of a continuous creative language.
